Yes. We recommend that you complete 1 course at a time (complete one and then move onto the next) but there is no reason that individuals cannot complete lots of courses with us.
English, maths and Digital Skills are free for everyone where you have not achieved these before. Our other courses will be fully government funded (FREE to the individual) where they are claiming benefits or on a low wage. For more information please call: 0330 4000 444
Our English, maths and Digital Skills courses can usually be started at a time that suits you. All of our other courses are repeated regularly throughout the year and so we can book you onto a course which will fit around your other commitments
Our Information, Advice and Guidance team will discuss course options with you. Once these have been agreed you will receive an email with course joining information including location (if this is a face-to-face course), timings and the name of your trainer.
Our Information, Advice and Guidance team will discuss course options with you. Once these have been agreed you will receive an email with course joining information including location (if this is a face-to-face course), timings and the name of your trainer.
On the first day of your course, you will be given the contact details for your trainer. If you are going to be absent, please let your trainer know. If you are going to be absent on your fist day please contact us on 0330 4000 444 to let us know.
We always supply tea, coffee, water and biscuits but learners are advised to bring their own lunch or money to buy some lunch at nearby shops on the break.
For face-to-face courses, you will be expected to make your own travel arrangements to get to and from the venues. If you are claiming benefits and will struggle to afford this then please talk to your work coach about support in the first instance.
Once you have completed the course, our internal team will review your work to ensure it meets the standard of the qualification and apply for your certificate. For short ‘Tailored Learning Courses’, your certificate will be emailed to you and for longer courses, hard copy certificates are posted usually within 4 weeks of the course completion date.
If your certificate has been posted to you and you have subsequently lost this, there will be a fee of £40 to re-order another certificate from the awarding organisation. For Tailored learning courses, certificates can be re-emailed at no cost.
