Job Title: Learner and Partner Engagement
Reporting to: Martin Guy
Areas: 2 roles Bedford and Cambridge. Both P/T
FTE: £26k (Pro Rata) + Commissions
Key Objectives
Have knowledge and understanding of the courses being promoted and their method of delivery and of government funded training opportunities.
- Engage with Referral partners, via telemarketing and written communication, to promote the programmes available for specific contracts
- Identify course requirements and programmes to be added and included into the Trainers diary
- Provide employers with accurate information relating to courses to help fill vacancies
- Contacting previous learners to promote vacancies or alternate programmes to meet employer needs
- Record activity and to manage teamwork load and telemarketing diary
- Work in an organised manner recording employer and learner details accurately
- To research suitable employers for targeted marketing campaigns, outside of provided data
- Enrol, register, and book learners onto courses
- Prepare analysis of KPI’s and sales reporting
Main Duties
- Business Development and commitment to work to set targets
- To provide high quality advice to determine the correct courses to fit potential clients needs
- Brokering employer vacancies with existing learners and potential learners
- Engage locally with employers to promote the contractual targets
- Maintain contact with previous learners to track progression into employment
- Marketing of training services to employer
- To ensure all paperwork is complete before the learner starts course
Administration and Support
- Be familiar with the contracts and services available to learners
- To compile and issue statistics that will assist in the development of the business
- Organise venues and facilities to ensure the successful delivery of programmes
- Complete and maintain all relevant documentation according to deadlines and the need for accuracy
- Be the key liaison person for ongoing changes and communications with the employer
- Maintain accurate learner records
- Maintain database of clients
Operations and Personnel
- Providing learner inductions for new learners linked to sourced employers
- Attend and provide information for regular staff meetings
- Ensure a safe working and always learning environment
- Liaise with Quality Manager to ensure full compliance
Products and Training
- Study and fully understand the courses run by SPS and keep up to date with new products
- Attend training courses to improve personal development as requested.
- Enhanced DBS disclosure to operate within the business.
Other duties
- Liaise with colleagues as appropriate to ensure effective communication.
- Ensure full audit compliance with record keeping and support retention.
- Carry out any other duties which may from time to time be required by management.
Key skills
- Previous experience working as a Recruiter/Consultant
- Previous sales training and an understanding of prospecting, needs analysis, proposal, and solution development, negotiating and closing techniques and methodologies.
