Funding Partners
SPS is committed to providing the very best products and services nationally and ensuring that the communities in Hertfordshire continue to remain competitive in this ever changing and challenging economic climate. We have been selected to deliver the following brands across all our sites in Hertfordshire.
Step2Skills (part of Hertfordshire County Council)
Step2Skills provides courses for adults aged 19+ in a variety of subjects such as English, maths, nutrition, art and IT as well as family learning (learning with your child) that takes place in children centres and schools. Courses are either free or low cost and designed to enhance the lives of local people.
Hertford Regional College
SPS is now supporting this local college in the delivery of its Adult Education Budget, primarily in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. This new relationship comes on the back of 6 years of supporting the college in the delivery of the very successful Skills Excellence East and Youth East projects.
National Careers Service
The National Careers Service provides information, advice and guidance to help you make decisions on learning, training and work opportunities. The service offers confidential and impartial advice. This is supported by qualified careers advisers.

Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP)
We have been working on an ESF Skills Support for the Unemployed Contract which the LEP has had a strong interest with its development. More information on the Herts LEP cabe found via their website. Click here.

British Computer Society
BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT champions the global IT profession and the interests of individuals engaged in that profession for the benefit of all.
SPS works in partnership with BCS to deliver industry recognised qualifications, including the ITQ, and digital skills programme.
City and Guilds
A global leader in skills education, City & Guilds Group helps people get into a job, progress in their career, and move onto the next challenge. Founded in 1878, City & Guilds is a charity that remain committed to our purpose, and reinvest our surplus into education and student support programmes.
Highfield Qualifications
They are a global leader in compliance and work-based learning and apprenticeship qualifications and one of the UK’s most recognisable awarding organisations. As such they arre regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales, SQA Accreditation, the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA), and the Security Industry Authority (SIA). In addition to this, they are also a government-regulated end-point assessment organisation (EPAO).
As an awarding organisation they have developed 250+ qualifications designed to enhance the career prospects of learners. These qualifications are now delivered by over 20,000 trainers and training providers spread across 57 countries. They cover multiple sectors such as retail, health and social care, finance, customer service, rail and engineering, hospitality, logistics, aviation and many more.
