At the end of March, SPS hosted a visit from the MP for Stevenage – Kevin Bonavia.  The visit was in partnership with Step2Skills and held at Bowmans House.  Ben had the chance to tell the MP about the priorities for SPS Training and the challenges we are facing in providing a steady and continuous offer for the unemployed and low wage residents of Stevenage. 

Kevin spoke about his priorities for local residents which was mainly health and housing but also took the opportunity to visit and talk with Anoushka’s learners who were nearing the end of their course.  Learners enjoyed the opportunity to ask Kevin some questions and join in the photo shoot (see below).
It was another opportunity to promote the good work of SPS Training and to establish ourselves as the best adult learning provider of Stevenage (and Hertfordshire).
